7/4は、アメリカ独立記念日。1776年にアメリカ独立宣言（イギリスから開放）が公布されたことを記念して、定められているアメリカ合衆国の祝日。 まあ、このお祝いでは、一般的に夜花火をあげたり、ＢＢＱや家族と集まります。 我家は、夫の家族が同じ町に住んでおりますが、身内も少ないので毎年一緒にお祝いするという事は、殆どありません。 おまけに、夫は疲れていたのか、（仕事もとても忙しいので疲れているのはあたりまえ？）眠ってしまって、花火を楽しみにしていたチビは、残念がっていました。 かわいそうなので、少しだけ私が一緒にしましたが、２本で止めました。やっぱりああいうのは、ﾊﾟﾊﾟがいるほうがいいですね。 ワンコは、花火の音が恐ろしいのか、
一晩中ベッドの下からでてきませんでした。 我々は、私がこのような状態にあるので、お祝いも何もしませんでした。 ごめんよ、息子と旦那！
Independence day was rather quiet this year. James was so exhausted, so he ended up falling a sleep before it got darker and Jason was so disappointed. I took him out and did few, but fireworks isn't my cup of tea really. People all over in the states, they have big get together with family and friends and and eat big, but my husband don't have too much family here and we are rather introverted, so every year, we just stay home and shoot few fireworks. But I guess that's fun enough for our son Jason. Hopefully ya'll had a good 4th of July!
