１３日の月曜日は、術後６週間目の初めての検診でした。
夫も勿論一緒に行きました。 回復は順調で、もし私の準備ができているのならば短時間単位で職場復帰をしてもいいとも言われました。 リハビリの先生からの執刀医への連絡は、「歩行器をもってこなかったり、リハビリを休んだり、不平を言うこともあるの」と私のリハビリの模様を伝えていたようだ。 執刀医は、特に何もそれには触れず、順調に回復しているので、使ってない筋肉を鍛えるのに頑張りなさいとのことでした。 でも、職場復帰するような体力は、私にはまだないので、あと、２，３週間の養生をして職場復帰と考えています。 帰りに久々に食べた韓国料理がおいしかった！そうそう、炎症を抑える薬を私の勘違いで１ヶ月前から飲むのを止めてしまって、この検診で
この薬を飲んでいないことに気づかされました。 これもあって、鈍痛がなかなかなくならなかったのだと思います。 医者の話を聞いて、気分爽快です。 やっぱりこういう大病をすると精神的な面で思いの外負担があります。 でも、ひとまず肩をおろしています。 皆様のお祈りに本当に感謝致します。
This past Monday was my first appointment after the surgery 6 wks ago.
He basically said that I am recovering fine, but probably expected more energy from me since I'm a young patient for this hip replacement. My therapist sent to my doc rather harsh comment of my recovery, but I guess he was doing his job. I found out from the nurse that I have stopped taking inflammation prevention medicine about month ago. I think I did this this by pure mistake. I was on so many medicines and when they stop me to take one medicine, I thought that I was supposed to stop the other or something.. I was glad to be reminded that I needed to be taking them... No wonder why my dull pain never went away fro long.... He mentioned that I could go back to work part time, but I mentioned that I can use few more weeks and he was happy with that idea. With total his replacement patients, they usually take off 12 wks off from work. So far I have been out 6 weeks, so I think I am doing just fine.
James took me to Korean restaurant for lunch and I was happy!
