James .......

夫の同級生のお母様が亡くなったので、彼は、棺を運ぶ人のボランティアをしたので葬儀には、久々に背広を来た。　夫は、太ってはいない。　ただ、足と腕がとても長いのでこのアメリカでも洋服を買うときに困る。　ウエストにあわせると丈が短かったり。。。胸にあわせると、腕もつんつるてんだったり。。。　私の父が亡くなった際に、父のカッターシャツをずいぶん沢山貰って帰ってきた。　父と夫はまあ、同じぐらいの肩幅だったのか？　でも、腕はやっぱり夫が長い。　父のシャツの中から良さそうなものを見つけて着せてみたら、腕も短くなくぴったりだった。　父は、大きかったので、シャツもテーラーメードのものが沢山ある。　私の弟は、背は高いものの肉がついていないので、父の洋服は、着れない。。。　今日のシャツは、薄めで薄黒いシャツでした。　

James' high school buddy's mother died last week, so today was the funeral. I still can't sit too low on the chair, so James went alone. He was saying that he needed to buy the dress shirt, but I told him that you've got so many shirts which we brought back from Japan after my father's passing. James is lean, but his legs and arms are so long and we have difficulties finding the right size clothing even here in the states. I picked one of my fathers dress shirt which was still in the dry cleaner's package from probably few years back. It fit him so perfect.... I thought that he looked pretty good. What do ya think?!
